Charles (Woody) Woodling

Woody is a graduate of Central Florida University in Orlando, FL, where he earned a B.S.B.A degree in Management and a minor in Marketing. He has also earned and maintained a Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS and a Certification as a Quality Facilitator (CQF) for process improvements, Cycle Time Reduction, and Variation Reduction from the Total Quality Institute.

He lives with his wife Becky in Warsaw, IN. Together they have raised five children with the youngest now attending Ball State University.

Woody has been a Plant Manager or Operations Manager for most of his 30 years in various manufacturing companies. In those roles he has succeeded in helping companies in start-up phases as well as making significant turn-arounds from low productivity and low morale to new levels of efficiency and team work. He has experienced many Lean Manufacturing initiatives with SMED, Kaizen, 5S, Value-Streaming, ISO9000, and FDA Medical Approval. He has headed many major projects for implementing ERP software, plant expansions, and new product introductions to the manufacturing process. One of his proudest accomplishments was the building of a new 118,000 sq. ft. plastic extrusion facility and being involved in everything needed to start up a new company.

After 30 years of being responsible for million dollar budgets, running a manufacturing operation, and dealing with an assortment of people, Woody knew it was time to give back to others. Through coaching business owners and executives Woody delivers proven processes to develop leadership, teamwork, time management, cycle-time reduction, and variable reduction within an organization. Woody brings to Resource Development Group a great balance of firsthand knowledge facilitating the relationships between all departments and skills within an organization.
